Planting fruit trees

As part of our Climate Concern initiative Friends from Beccles Quaker Meeting decided that we would try to find a way to support more tree planting.  We were very glad when the opportunity arose to buy some fruit trees for Ditchingham Primary School gardening club to plant in their school grounds.

We were delighted to be asked to visit the school on March 3^rd and watch the children plant the new trees.  The gardening club is very well supported with lots of different activities for the children to get involved with.  We know they will look after the trees and hopefully eventually be able to pick their own fruit.
