Quaker meetings for worship for business

The responsibility for running local and area Quaker meetings is held by their members.

Everyone is encouraged to attend business meetings, which are also known as meetings for worship for church affairs. These are conducted in what is called the Quaker business method.  These meetings begin in silence and allow time between contributions for silent and respectful reflection and for spiritual discernment. In Beccles business meetings take place bi-monthly after meeting for worship, and alternate between Fridays and Sundays.
